In the dark future of 2071, Night City’s newest underground music sensation are celebrating their latest triumph. But the Victims of Fortune are more than just a band – they’re are also a front for mercs and would-be revolutionaries who call themselves edgerunners but the law and the corpos call criminals. They’ve just succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in their latest score and are about to find out victory can be as lethal as defeat.
Set in the same universe as the Cyberpunk TTRPG, Cyberpunk 2077, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, this game is a classic parlour LARP where characters with conflicting agendas and loyalties wrestle with big decisions. Although not completely freeform (the game will have some light mechanics), the game will be focused on social interaction with the main conflicts coming from the different desires of the characters. Most of the characters will be attached in some way to the underground cyberpunk music group Victims of Fortune, whether they’re band members, crew, groupies, or criminals that works with them. So while characters may be opposing each other, they still mostly consider themselves to be on the same side and this isn’t a faction-driven game.
You should play this game if you like cyberpunk aesthetic, the Cyberpunk game setting, or you like social parlour LARPs.
