It was supposed to bring together hundreds of conspiracy theorists to see one very famous “researcher.” Instead, come the first day, only a handful showed up and the keynote speaker is… dead. Worse, the government snoop at the FBI outreach booth (“No, we didn’t kill Kennedy. Yes we’re hiring.”) will drag you all in unless you can sort this out. Was it the Mole People, or a jealous rival?.
Powered by a North American take on Jubensha-lite (Jubensha being the cross between murder mystery, and cafe-larp that is so popular in China). Solve this mystery (or at least find an Oswald to pin it on), do puzzles together, pursue your agenda, buy or sell (allegedly) classified technology, and just be wacky.
If we have more than 5 people, you can buddy up for double the fun – each character is an online handle, so they can be two people who swap accounts, or two people claiming to be the same person, now stuck trying to solve one murder.
Runs for 2 hours.
If you wish to sign up for TruthCon 26!, please click here. It is running on Saturday, February 14, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This event is organized by Amy Fox.
Characters for this event are pre-written and will be distributed before the game starts. Costumes are optional. If you wish to costume, the setting is modern and costumes should be subtle references to fringe or conspiracy culture.
Signups for this LARP are on a first come, first serve basis. There is a minimum number of 4 players for the event to run, and it caps at 7. Players 13+ only, please.
